THANK YOU to all our friends, families and community members for attending our recent social event.
On Sunday 24th February, The RED Trail hosted another of our Social MeetUps, where we enjoyed our time visiting Avoca Beach, connecting families from Sydney and the Central Coast. We love hosting our Social MeetUps as it provides a great opportunity for the bleeding disorder community to meet other families with a chronic disorder. It enables people to connect and share their stories to begin breaking down the feeling of isolation while developing confidence in managing a life-long condition.
FOOD

H&H Catering Venues Events generously provided morning tea with delicious danishes that disappeared into everyone's mouth before we could even take any arty photos of it. Although the smiles on everyone's faces spoke volumes.
FAST CARS
Members of the NSW Lotus Club kindly donated their valuable time to join us on the day with a spectacular convoy of colour to be ready for the awaiting kids, including a Lotus Elise dressed up as a real life 'Lightening McQueen âš¡ Many of the drivers also attended the Soar and Roar Festival in Sydney last year.
They are a great humble bunch of compassionate listeners that truly care about our community and willing to inject a bit of fun for the lives of families that don't have things going their way. We cannot thank our Lotus crew enough for their selfless support and helping create some hilarious photo opportunities.
BUBBLE FUN

We are equally grateful to our corporate heroes at Funrise Toys for providing hours of entertainment for the kids with their amazing Gazillion Bubbles Whirlwind Party Machine. Their premium bubble solution produced some of the biggest, brightest & most colourful bubbles we've ever seen! We now have a battle amongst the adults as to who wants one for home.
A 1 in 1,000,000 RARITY
We were extremely fortunate to have met one very rare bleeder who was diagnosed very late into adulthood. Believe it or not, she is so rare that there is only 1 in 1,000,000 people worldwide to have the disorder!
We are so pleased to know our Social MeetUp gave Sandra a chance to raise awareness about her bleeding disorder.
