courage is what keeps you going."

The RED Trail is an Australian
Chronic Disorders Support Network.
Run by FAMILIES for FAMILIES
We are a collaborative group of passionate souls all uniting together for connection and social support whilst raising awareness & vital funds for our community living with chronic disorders.
In 2014, my son Jayden & I, created The RED Trail to raise awareness about his chronic bleeding disorder, Severe Haemophilia A with Inhibitors.

That same year, this mother and son team initiated the very first Haemophilia Walk in NSW with a 7km Challenge raising much needed funds to help others live a fulfilling life with this incurable condition.

Jayden's severe condition quite often left him immobilised and needing the use of a wheelchair for recovery and rehabilitation. His goal was to challenge his ability to get back on his feet stronger than ever before.

“When I was born, there was a clotting protein missing in my blood. Without this clotting protein, I can bruise & bleed easily. Most of my bleeds are internal, into joints, muscles or other parts of my body. These ‘bleeding episodes’ can happen anytime at any place, even while I am sitting down! It is important that I get treatment regularly and immediately after a bleed or injury. Without treatment, someone with Severe Haemophilia, like me, will experience life-threatening internal bleeding which means I may not even survive into adulthood. This is a life-long bleeding disorder and currently there is no cure. Therefore I need your support to help me live a normal life as possible.” – Jayden.
Our Heroes are raising awareness about their bleeding disorder.

We are always seeking new opportunities to raise funds for other wonderful charities.
We hope to work closely with these organisations to make a big difference in the lives of people with chronic disabilities, particularly, rare disorders.
