Feel free to walk it, ride it or roll it!

an inspiring day around the 7km Iron Cove Bay.

We welcome everyone, young & old, no matter what fitness level to come participate all for a great cause. The RED Trail 4 BDC event is a great opportunity for the bleeding disorder community to meet up with other families, share your stories, and make new connections.

 

Invite your friends and your neighbours to join us and help bring awareness about Haemophilia and related inherited bleeding disorders in the community.

 

Pack a picnic, hat & sunscreen and join 'Our Heroes' on the inspirational 7km Challenge - a walk to honour past and present Heroes, whilst also raising $10,000 all for a great cause.

 

Enjoy the day with a delicious gourmet BBQ, assortment of red themed cakes and refreshing Nudie drinks available for purchase at The RED Trail Stall

The Iron Cove Bay is located in the inner-western suburbs of Sydney with a family-friendly 7km track along the "Bay Run" - a popular harbour-side track that encircles much of the Iron Cove Bay.

 

The flat, well-maintained track is also bicycle, pram and dog friendly, with lanes for walkers and cyclists clearly marked where possible. 

About the 7km Challenge :

 

  1. Please wear RED to show your support for people with bleeding disorders.

  2. 7km Challenge - walk, ride n' roll starts at 10:30am sharp.

  3. The full 7km track may take up to 2hrs to complete depending on your fitness levels.

  4. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  5. Please bring a hat and slap on some sunscreen.

  6. Bring your favourite wheels, ie a bike, roller blades, skateboard, or scooter along.

  7. Wear comfortable flat shoes. A sport shoe is recommended for the 7km trail.

  8. All participants must follow the prescribed route and follow all directions given by event staff. 

  9. Checkpoint signs will be erected at 1km interval with red balloons clearly in sight.

  10. If you are unable to continue the full distance, you may turn around and head back to event stall to indulge in our gourmet BBQ and assortment of red themed cakes and refreshments.
